The Northern Light Modular Easel MIDI Model CardEM is a CV to MIDI converter module for the Buchla Music Easel and 208 module, allowing to control Eventide or strymon pedals or any other MIDI controllable effects or Synthesizer.
The Northern Light Modular Easel MIDI Model CardEM slots into the 25-pin slot on the easel to transform its CV values into MIDI CC, note on/off, velocity and aftertouch messages.
The CardEM includes ten CV to MIDI controls including 10 CV inputs with attenuverter for external modulation via CV. Up to four MIDI devices can be controlled simultaneously in live mode
The Easel MIDI includes 6 banks of presets, 5 of which are already loaded and four of which are user configurable. Presets include comes Eventide H9, Strymon pedals (Volante, Bigsky, Timeline) Kilpatrick Redox, but can also be manually configured to respond to any MIDI device you wish including synthesizers and virtual instrument plugins.
