The ribbon transducer is also internally shock-mounted to isolate the ribbon from shocks and vibration. The ribbon is also wired in a humbucking fashion to reject electromagnetically induced noise.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cbr\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eThe R-10 also employs a custom transformer designed by David Royer for high overload threshold and minimised saturation at extremely high sound pressure levels.
