The Antelope Audio Edge Duo is a modelling large-diaphragm condenser microphone with a dual capsule for polar pattern control and stereo applications, powered by Antelope’s library of microphone emulations.
The Antelope Audio Edge Duo features a dual 6-micron edge-terminated gold-sputtered membrane feeding two separate XLR outputs using the included Y cable. The combination of both membranes lets you control with precision the polar pattern within the plug-in even after recording. It also provides exceptionally accurate modelling on- and off-axis modelling for true multi-dimensional mic modelling.
The diaphragm stays within a low-resonance body with a low-reflection head basket. The result is a crystal-clear and accurate sound upon which to add Antelope’s mic emulations.
Antelope Audio also includes custom electronics designed by award-winning in-house engineers to deliver extremely high dynamic range and optimum frequency response.
Combined with Antelope’s Mic modelling technology, the Edge Duo adds stunningly accurate emulations of classic vintage microphones. It comes with 18 of the most iconic microphones:

It can also be used with any third-party audio interface with Antelope’s native mic emulation plug-ins which give you the same functionally from your favourite DAW with minimal latency. It comes as VST, AU and AAX for maximum compatibility and works on both MacOS and Windows.
