The API 3124MV is a 4-channel mic preamp with an additional audio mixer with transformer balanced output.

The API 3124 is similar to the 3124MB+ but adds variable output level control adding more flexibility suited to modern recording workflows. It also uses a 3:1 output transformer switch lets you change the amount of gain provided by each stage (input, transformer and output) while using the variable output to keep the levels in check.

The 3124MV’s audio mixer boasts transformer balanced output, with stereo panner, level control and post fader aux send.

Following API’s original circuitry as well as proprietary input and output transformers, 2520 op amps delivering the unmistakable API sound.
