KEY FEATURES
The API Select T12 is a two-channel tube mic preamp with an all-tube, Class A design including API’s proprietary AP2516 input stage transformer and Custom API transformer on the output.
The API Select T12 includes 12AT7WX and 12BH7 dual-triode vacuum tubes to provide the classic tube sound and new tonal colours to API’s sought-after clarity, warmth and punch. Thanks to dedicated input and output controls, the T12 offers a wide range of colour options. An impedance switcher lets you find the optimum impedance for your microphone for optimum performance or simply for additional tonal options. It also includes a high-pass filter with selectable frequencies to counterbalance proximity effect or simply remove unwanted low frequencies.
