The Audeze LCD-5 are the next stage of planar magnetic headphones with a new planar driver and magnet structure and improved structural design.
The Audeze LCD-5 brings a whole new level of accuracy with a new design of their award-winning Fluxor magnets and revised Fazor waveguides as well as a new innovative, patent-pending Parallel Uniforce voice coils. The whole structure ensures even fewer reflections and resonance than previous models as well as greater frequency response and pinpoint-accurate soundstage.
Audeze has also redesigned the structure of the headphones with new acoustically designed leather earpads, improved luxurious carbon fibre suspension headband and an all-new magnesium housing. Beautiful deep tortoiseshell acetate rings also offer a striking look. The new construction also means these headphones only weigh 420g offering superior comfort for long mixing or mastering sessions.
The LCD-5 has an impedance of 14Ohms and a sensitivity of 90dB/1mW. It comes with Audeze's latest premium audio cable and aluminium travel case.
