Audient ASP880 8-channel Mic Preamp (B-Stock)

The Audient ASP880 is an 8-channel mic preamp and AD converter designed to add Audient world-class sound to your DAW-based system.

The Audient ASP880 uses the same Class-A mic preamps found on the legendary ASP8024 console, offering a vastly superior sound than preamps found in most audio interfaces, delivering much more detail and excitement with subtle analogue colouration. The ASP880 will give you the sound quality of recording studios in a portable 1U rack. The mic preamp is equally at ease with dynamic, condenser, and ribbon microphones thanks to the variable impedance, which will match your favourite microphone, keeping the mic's punch, frequency response, and clarity. Two DI inputs also allow you to plug your guitar, bass, or keyboard. High pass filtering, phase reversal and +48V phantom power are also included.

EQ and Compressor can also be inserted in the recording chain thanks to the dedicated insert send and returns, which allow you to use your favourite analogue processors before the analogue-to-digital conversion stage. The ASP880 features the highest Burr Brown converters available, ensuring pristine AD conversion similar in quality to dedicated high-end digital audio converters.

The ASP880 delivers the sound quality associated with Audient throughout the years, and its solidity makes it ideal for recording on the road. With an all-metal construction and hand-milled aluminium knobs, the ASP880 is designed to last.

Now, it also comes with plugins and creative software with ARC—Audient, including SSteinberg'sCubase LE and Cubasis LE2 (for iOS), ten free masters for automated mastering service LANDR (£120), two free courses, and a £20 voucher for online audio educators Producertech.
