The Audio Maintenance ez1081 is a microphone and line preamp with a four band EQ and high-pass filter inspired by the Neve 1081.


The Audio Maintenance ez1081 boasts Carnhill transformers and inductors to recreate the unmistakable sound. The mic preamp section provides up to 70dB of gain in 5dB steps. A line input allows you to use the ez1801 as an insert at the mixing stage, to add colour and EQ your signal after the fact. The Line input gain is separate from the mic input and provides up to +20dB in 4dB steps.


The EQ section includes a four-band EQ with Low- and high-shelf and two bell curves with a choice of wide and narrow bands. The low- and high-pass filters are 18dB per octave and selectable frequency points.


The ez1801 is the result of four years of research and development and is hand-assembled in England to exacting standards.
