The Avantone CLA-10A is a powered version of the CLA-10 passive studio monitor with new Class A/B power amp section and VPTC tweeter control and positioning mode.


The Avantone CLA-10A builds on the success of the CLA-10 but adds the same Class AB amplifier found on the Avantone CLA-200 power amp with linear power supply and delivering 200 Watts of output.


The amplifier has a wide voltage range and high-current output capability and operates in parallel mode for higher output into low impedance loads. It ensures better thermal performance even at high power and results in THD of 0.005% at low power. The linear power supply uses a huge toroidal transformer delivering the typical sound associated with Class AB amplification systems.


The CLA-10A includes several controls to emulate different revisions of the NS-10 such as the VTPC control which lets you simulate different attributes such as the vertical positioning of the NS-10M or even the classic tissue paper placed in front of the tweeter.
