The Avantone CV12 BLA is a substantial update to the original CV12 Tube large condenser microphone with brand new capsule, circuit board and accessories.

The Avantone CV12 BLA is the result of Avantone’s collaboration with Chicago-based Mod fanatics Black Lion Audio which has created identified several modifications to provide a cleaner and fuller sound.

First is the capsule, the new CV12 BLA replaces the original 32mm K67 by the larger 34mm CK12 style diaphragm, which brings the sound closer to the original AKG C12, with sweeter highs and increased lows.

The second modification comes with a complete overhaul of the circuit board which tames the high-mid frequency for a flatter response and balanced range.

The CV12BLA comes with a stunning Jetsun shock mount and a faux alligator carry case.
