The Avid Pro Tools MTRX 8 AES 3 is an expansion card for Pro Tools MTRX providing 8 channels of AES3 digital I/O and includes a sample rate conversion built-in.
The Avid Pro Tools MTRX 8 AES 3 is built for the MTRX AD/DA converter base, a highly modular system designed to fit perfectly in your existing system while providing stunning conversion. Built in partnership with Digital Audi Denmark (DAD), the MTRX is much more than a simple digital audio converter, it boasts a powerful routing matrix and integration with Pro Tools.
Pro Tools MTRX 8 AES 3 Main Features:
- Digital I/O formats: AES/EBU, Pro Tools DigiLink Mini, Dante IP Audio
- Supported sample rate: Up to 192kHz MADI/up to 384kHz, and DSD
- Synchronization: AES11, Word Clock, all digital inputs; Video
- Sync (word clock connector) / PAL, NTSC, SECAM
- DSD sample rates: 8224 and 5.6448MHz (64 / 128FS)
- Dynamic range (A): > 128dB
