Dolby Atmos Integration
The Avid Pro Tools MTRX Studio supports comprehensive setups for Dolby Atmos in a compact 1U rack, enabling mixing in 7.1.4 surround or larger configurations.
The Avid Pro Tools MTRX Studio is a Dolby Atmos-ready interface for Pro Tools HDX and HD Native, developed in close partnership with DAD with 64-channels of Dante, 18x18 analogue I/O and 8 ADAT I/O.
The Avid Pro Tools MTRX Studio offers extensive routing capabilities and ultra-low latency monitoring. From the 64 channels of Dante and DADman’s 51x512 matrix, the MTRX Studio lets you route any input to any output regardless of the connectivity formats. It is even possible to send audio to multiple devices simultaneously.
With an extensive number of outputs, speaker processing and monitoring control the MTRX Studio lets you mix 7.1.4 surround and larger setups for Dolby Atmos all in a convenient 1U rack. It also includes built-in speaker calibration built-in directly into the interface using the SPQ speaker processing technology available as an option on the Pro Tools MTRX. All monitor configurations can be stored and recalled allowing easy transition between mono to immersive audio.
MTRX Studio also features EUCON Built-in and provides tight integration with Pro Tools Ultimate, allowing all sources, monitoring and routing to be controlled directly from any Avid control surface.
