High-Fidelity Sound Reproduction
The Barefoot MM45 uses technology from the flagship MiniMain12, ensuring high-quality sound with a consistent signal path and advanced driver technologies, delivering an unparalleled listening experience.
The Barefoot MicroMain45 or MM45 is a 3-way active studio monitor, stripped down version of the flagship MiniMain12 with MEME technology.
The Barefoot MM45 share the exact same signal path, amplifier and driver technologies as the MM12 delivering the same sonic experience at a more affordable price. Input Level stepped attenuator and comprehensive EQ are found on the back allowing tailoring the monitors to most rooms.
In addition, the MicroMain45 tweeter uses a 1" ring radiator found on all Barefoot speakers including the MM12, MM27 Gen2 and MM35 Gen 2 which is complemented by an advanced geometry motor, rear waveguide chamber and a 180W Hypex amplifier. The midrange driver is powered by another 180W Hypex amplifier and features two 2.5” aluminium cones with the same advanced geometry motors and a +/-2 linear excursion. Finally the new 8" aluminium cone woofer is powered by a 250W amplifier and features high linearity motors with a +/-13 mm linear excursion.
The Barefoot MM45 uses a 14 litre cabinet with sealed midrange and woofer enclosures machined aluminium baffle plate, filled with long fiber wool for acoustic damping.;
