The Beyerdynamic DT900 Pro X is a pair of circumaural open-back studio headphones designed for mixing and mastering with a brand new Stellar.45 driver to deliver a detailed, powerful and vibrant sound with vanishingly low distortion.
The Beyerdynamic DT900 Pro X reproduces all the finest details thanks to the new STELLAR.45 driver which has an impedance of 48 Ohms. It features a neodymium ring magnet coupled with a copper-clad high-tech coil and a brand new three-layer speaker diaphragm with an integrated damping layer. This new architecture creates a highly efficient driver system capable of stunning performance regardless of playback devices. Furthermore, at 48 Ohms, it can deliver stunning performance either with a headphone amp or on your smartphone.
Like the DT 990, the DT900 Pro X offers superior comfort with a robust spring steel headband that ensures a secure fit on the head as well as increased durability. The velour earpads are extremely soft and deliver great ventilation. The headband also includes soft memory foam ensuring it adapts ergonomically to the shape of the head. The memory foam and ear pads can be replaced as and when it becomes necessary.
