Proven Studio Pedigree
The Black Lion Audio Bluey 500 is engineered based on Chris Lord Alge's legendary modified 1176 compressor, ensuring professional, high-quality sound processing.
The Black Lion Audio Bluey 500 is a 500-series version of the acclaimed Bluey compressor based on Chris Lord Alge's heavily-modified 2U compressor.
The Black Lion Audio Bluey 500 is a two-slot 500-series module with all the significantly modified 1176 rev A flavour. In addition to the usual 1176-style ratio buttons and ultra-fast attack and release periods, the BLA Bluey has a Comp Mix knob for direct parallel processing and a Link mini-jack connector for connecting two units for stereo operation.
Because of Black Lion Audio's significant expertise in altering outboards, they could reverse engineer the original 1176 compressor by famed mixer Chris Lord Alge and replicate all the alterations the units had experienced. The end product is an identifiable compressor, especially on voices.
