Adaptive Voltage Control
The Buchla 230 Triple Envelope Follower converts the amplitude of incoming audio signals into control voltages, perfect for using these signals as dynamic triggers.
The Buchla 230 Triple Envelope Follower Classic Reissue is a recreation of the original 230 Triple Envelope Generator.
The Buchla 230 Triple Envelope Follower Classic Reissue produces control voltages based on the amplitude of the signal fed to it. It is ideal for using audio signals as triggers, following the envelope of the input signal. The 230 then produces Pulses or CV proportional to the input.
It has two modes, a direct-coupled mode (sustained) that activates the pulse when the voltage exceeds 6V, and a transient coupling mode that detects the attack of transients within background noise.
The 230 Classic Reissue module can be installed in modern Buchla cases and are compatible with Buchla's 200e lineup, making them the perfect complement to each other.
