The Buchla Shorting Bar is an essential extra to any banana format modular synthesizer, designed to perform patching duties between connections next to each other; they let you make quick patches without excess cable spaghetti.
Buchla shortening bars allow for stacking from above and from the side of the connection destination, so you can easily plug up to four connections into the shortening bar if desired.
