The Corsynth C106 Dual Looping Envelope Module is a 5U Moog format envelope generator with multiple modes of operation, including a looping mode.
The C106 consists of two attack and decay format envelopes, which operate independently of each other, though they can be "tied" together to create interesting modulation results, for example envelope A and trigger envelope B at the end of attack or end of decay and vice versa (B controls A).
Each envelope has full CV control over the attack and decay stages, or both simultaneously via the A+D CV input, this means you can create quite a lot of variation, with some very simple CVs like an LFO connected to the inputs. Each envelope can be in one shot mode, or more uniquely can be put into loop mode, in this setting you can create LFO style results.
Where this module gets really inspiring is when you look at the output connections, each output has a 0-5V and a bi-polar +/-5v output, plus an END pulse output, where pulse is created at the end a given decay stage and a gate output, where a gate is created at the end of the given decay stage.
But that's not all, there are two common outputs which provide some extra, special features: the A+B output, where the sum of envelope A+B is created and output, this is very handy for complex modulation. And the A-B output, where the resulting voltage of envelope A less the value of B is output, giving you inverted, complex CV and waveforms.
As with the rest of the Corsynth range, this module is built using high quality components throughout, including switchcraft jacks, cosmo knobs and anodized aluminium front panels.
A staggeringly useful module, that goes well beyond the duties of a more simpler envelope.
