The Corsynth DR-02 offers two distinct sections for precision shaping of snare sounds, enabling users to finely adjust both the strike tone and the resonant character to perfectly match their musical needs.
The Corsynth DR-02 is the second percussion module from Corsynth, following on from the success of the DR-01 Kick Drum, the DR02 provides a wealth of tools for crafting a vast array of percussion tones and timbres, with a specific focus on Snares.
DR02 comprises of two sections, the first is the Head where you can craft the tone of the virtual surface you’re striking, here you can detune, pitch mod and dial in the amount of the signal going to the main outputs, you can even remove it from the signal completely if desired so you only hear the second section.
Section two is where you craft the resonant character of the snare, equipped with two independent filters, a high pass and a low pass, you can freely dial in a wide array of resonant tones to suit the style of snare you’re looking to create. And as with the head section, you can dial in the amount of the resonant character and even remove it from the final mix.
Full CV control over the tuning, low pass cut off and the high pass cut off is included, so building your own custom percussion tones is simplicity itself.
As with the rest of the Corsynth range, this module is built using high quality components throughout, including switchcraft jacks, cosmo knobs and anodized aluminium front panels.
