Digital Audio Labs LiveMix External Mic Pre

The Digital Audio Labs Livemix LM-MicPre is a USB-powered mic preamp for external intercom microphones for Livemix systems.

The Digital Audio Labs Livemix LM-MicPre allows for the use of external microphones with the Livemix built-in intercom system. It is particularly useful for musical directors and team members to communicate or for saving extra channels on the personal mixer or console. It works with any dynamic microphone

When using a dynamic microphone, the intercom button offers three different modes: Always on, Latch Mode and Push to Talk. As the name suggests, Always on keeps the microphone activated at all times. In Latch mode, a press of the button will activate the intercom microphone which will remain activated until the button is pressed another time. In the last mode, also known as momentary mode, the intercom will only be active while the button is depressed.

For hands-free operation, the LM-MICPre accepts the optional FP-2 foot pedal, enabling the functionalities of the button to access via the first footswitch.
