The Doepfer Dark Link is a USB MIDI to CV Converter designed to take computer generated USB MIDI signals and convert them into modular CV and gate.

A handy little box that allows you to use vintage CV equipped or Eurorack format synthesizers using your DAW or other MIDI equipped software.

Dark Link includes 4 separate CV outputs which translate MIDI as follows: Gate for note on / off, CV for note on or off @ 1V/octave, CV2 handles pitch bend, CV3 handles velocity and CV4 handles standard controller data.

Each CV output can be routed as you wish wherever in your modular environment.

A superb tool for getting MIDI into your Eurorack System when there's no horizontal pitch left to spare.
