The DPA d:vote CORE 4099 Violin Microphone is the next-generation supercardioid microphone for violin and viola with adjustable gooseneck and new CORE amplifier technology.
The DPA d:vote CORE 4099 Violin microphone is the result of years of research and development in designing the ultimate microphone for live Violin and recordings. Its highly direction supercardioid capsule provides unmatched isolation from other musicians, as well as incredibly low self-noise and high gain before feedback.
It also includes a a new CORE amplifier technology which helps achieve a highly transparent sound both on- and off-axis and avoid any unnatural harsh frequencies. The Violin option includes the Loud SPL 4099 variation which exhibits a dynamic range of 108dB and can support up to 142dB before clipping.
The provided mounting system securely attaches the gooseneck microphone to the violin allowing for easy fitting and positioning. The microphone kit also comes with the DAD4099-BC XLR which requires 48V phantom power and includes a low frequency cut filter.
