The DPA ST4006C features two omni microphones factory-matched within ±0.5 dB, ensuring extremely close frequency response and sensitivity for superior stereo sound capture.
The DPA ST4006C is a complete DPA 4006C Stereo Pair with two carefully factory-matched omni microphones. Even though the standard tolerances on DPA Reference Standards are extremely low, a stereo match is even closer.
The specially selected DPA 4006C microphones are matched within ±0.5 dB on both frequency response and sensitivity. The maximum phase response difference is 5°. The foam design in the heavy-duty transportation box allows for fast and easy exchange of microphone/accessory inlays.
Wherever a small, lightweight, inconspicuous microphone for top-quality recording is required, the compact design and clean, transparent sound of the versatile 4006C makes it the perfect choice. Particularly popular as A-B stereo pairs in concert halls where quality recordings can sometimes be compromised by classic architecture, the 4006C's can be mounted, hung or concealed to create clean, transparent recordings.
