Rim Protection
The RM1 is coated with a thick layer of polyolefin, ensuring that your drum's rim and shell are protected from scratches or marks during use.
KEY FEATURES
Earthworks RM1 is an accessory for Drum Periscope and Periscope microphones models enabling them to be mounted to the rim of a tom or snare drum. Coated with a thick layer of polyolefin to protect the drum rim and drum shell from being marked, the RM1 features a rotary thumbscrew attached to a multi-slotted Delrin® jaw to easily align the underside of a metal drum rim. A rubber sleeve on the side of the RM1 holds the body of either a Drum Periscope or a Periscope microphone with the ability to slide the mic up and down to increase or decrease the height of the microphone capsule above the drumhead. The RM1 can be attached to either the bottom or top rim of a drum and can remain on the microphone when dismantling drums for time efficiency.
