The Echo-Fix EF-X3R is a single channel Tape Echo unit with Chorus and a Spring reverb inspired by the venerable RE-501.
The Echo-Fix EF-X3R builds on the success of the EF-X2 Tape delay and spring reverb by including many user-requested features as well as adding a BBD (Bucket Brigade Delay) Chorus and a 100% analogue signal path.
Furthermore, Echo-fix have added stereo outputs as well as individual outputs for each head enabling the unit to be used as a stereo ping pong delay effect when panning each head left and right.
A new auto-tape-stop circuit has also been implemented extending tape life.
The result of 15 years of experience in repairing vintage tape echos, has led to the development of one of the best sounding and most reliable tape echo available on the market.
