The elysia karacter 500 is a 500 Series saturation module designed to provide a range of vibrant colouration from subtle mastering saturation, valve-like distortion or sonic mayhem.
The elysia karacter is a two-channel module which can be used in dual mono, linked stereo or M/S modes. It boasts integrated mix stages to offer parallel signal processing and unique colour controls which make it an ultra-flexible unit.
The karacter 500 offers a range of distortions all accessible via easily accessible controls such as the FET/Shred and Turbo Boost buttons which are then shaped with the unique Colour filter. The amount of distortion is controlled by the Drive which goes to 11… All these controls provide a vast range of colour options that make it suitable with any instrument, genre and application.
Even at high settings, the karacter 500 provides an expensive and open sound thanks to its use of discrete Class-A topology. All controllers have 41 steps offering a huge amount of precision and making it possible to place it for recalls.
