The Fredenstein F601A is a Class A microphone preamp for the 500-series format.
The Fredenstein F601A produces a detailed sound with improved low frequencies and transients thanks to the use of an innovative Zero-Negative-Feedback design. Silky and smooth, the F601A is never harsh despite the detailed high frequency it produces.
The fully discrete Class-A gain stage is combined with a Lundahl LL578XL input transformers ensuring high quality performance, superior to “classic” mic preamps. In addition, the F601A produces very low noise ensuring exception results.
