Fredenstein F603B

The Fredenstein F603B is a high-quality single-slot four-band EQ for the 500-series format.

The Fredenstein F603B can be used for tracking and mixing delivering high-class performance. It features passive LC (inductor/capacitors) filters and a very short signal path for a truly pristine sound. The four bands are split between two shelves for low and high frequency filters each with a choice of four different frequencies, and two mid-range bells both covering six frequencies. Frequencies are clearly indicated by LEDs.  All bands offer +/-16dB of gain and a fixed Q of approximately 0.8.

All filters are switched by relays ensuring the best possible sound quality. The F603B delivers truly unparalleled silkiness and detail. The high power output stage ensures optimum performance throughout.

The F603B retains all parameters when switched off and recalls them automatically when powered up avoiding the need for recall sheets. Like all Fredenstein modules, parameters values are displayed on the LCD screen of a Bento D 500-series chassis.
