The Frequency Central Little Melody (MU) is a 5U generative based sequencer that lets you create melodies and riffs on the fly.
The Frequency Central Little Melody combines clock divisions and a chromatic quantizer to create powerful sequences in the moment and is a great module for improvised performances. The Clock divisions work like four distinct clock dividers connected to a CV mixer and attenuators. The four divisions labelled A, B, C, D control how often each note is added to the mix. They all receive the same clock signal which is then divided based on a combination of the presets selector and individual divisions. Each divider can be set to count up, down or a variety of modes in between.
Attenuators let you choose notes over a 5-octave range while the output is quantized chromatically to achieve musical and pleasing results fast and continuously.
This 5U module uses the MU (Moog Unit) format and is therefore compatible with any case that uses this format.
