The GC Audio Gyraf Audio GY 4.5 Inherit Cartridge is a tube mic preamp cartridge developed by Jakob Erlund of Gyraf Audio for the Inherit System. 

The GC Audio GY 4.5 mic pre is based on the Gyratec G9 mic pre and includes two ECC82 running on high voltage, no solid-state component in the signal line and input/output balanced by high-end Lundahl transformers, all to deliver a wide tonal range from crystal-clear to highly coloured sound. The design includes a prolonged transition to overload with a wide sweet spot. By pushing the input and lowering the output control, the GY 4.5 can create a wonderful rich analogue saturation without overloading your converters.
