The GRP Synthesizer A2 is a two oscillator analogue synthesizer, who’s voicing and circuitry is derived from GRP’s rich back catalogue of monster synthesizers. Combining the best hand built quality, with premium analogue electronics.
A2 contains two GRP signature oscillators that have incredibly wide range with multiple waveforms including a super-saw and shape-able triangle. Each VCO has 11 FM sources and phase switching plus VCO 2 can be sync’d to VCO 1 for even more sonic complexity. GRP’s oscillators are flexible, rich, fat and a joy to listen to.
GRP’s 12dB state variable filter is included as part of the A2’s architecture which includes 5 switchable modes, a raspy and throaty distortion and a wide range of FM possibilities, it gives the A2 a very distinct yet relatable sonic pallet with enough control to make even the most ambitious sound designers happy.
Two LFO’s, noise and a sample and hold round off the modulation options, giving you plenty of tools to reach for when designing your sound. LFO 1 has four waveforms with variable sync options and a wide frequency range, LFO 2 has 11 sources to select from, meaning it’s not just an LFO, it’s also a modulation router.
The A2 is a powerful, beautiful sounding little synthesizer that has all of the signature building blocks from the GRP range, it’s the kind of synth you always reach for to get inspiration or to make a mix “work”. The A2 can be either housed in a 5U / MU cabinet, taking up 8 MU units or kept standalone with its wooden side cheeks.
