The IGS Audio 576 Blue Stripe is a 500 series compressor inspired by the legendary 1176 rev A “Blue Face” FET compressor and limiter.
The IGS Audio 576 Blue Stripe boasts the same attack and release controls as well as input and output levels. The same ratios but adds a new 2:1 ratio not found on the original. This allows using the 576 for more subtle applications. Carnhill input and output transformers are also employed as well as needle VU meter.
