The Landscape HC-TT is a unique tape manipulation tool, that allows you to control the playback of magnetic tape cassettes with two rotating spools.

How you interact and move the playback heads defines the resulting sound, which can be anything from slow moving drone all the way through to vinyl scratching effects. Of course the source material plays a big part in what the finished effect will be, so applying your own custom tape loops is heavily advised!

The controls on on the front panel include two rotary controllers for both forward and backwards playback, momentary mute button great for DJ "kill" effects (this button also sends a gate output via the eurorack compatible gate output, there's also a gain control for pushing your source material over the edge, into feedback laden territory, a lo-fi tone control which acts as a crude bi-polar bass cut or enhance, half moon and gate buttons for versatile interaction between your modular and HC-TT plus extra controls for even more feedback action.

How you use HC-TT is totally up to you, it's a stunning example of a sound design and audio manipulation tool, which is seemingly simplistic but hides it's majesty rewarding exploration and experimentation.
