The Lewitt LCT 1040 Microphone System is a groundbreaking tube/FET large-diaphragm condenser microphone system with a detachable remote control unit providing control over voicing, polar pattern and more.
The Lewitt LCT 1040 uses a centre terminated gold-sputtered 1” true condenser capsule designed and engineered in Austria and can use the FET circuitry or Tube or a blend of the two to power the microphone. Furthermore, the tube section offers four different voicing style including Clear, Warm, Dark and Saturated sounds. The circuit control lets you precisely set the character of the microphone to bring the advantage of both topologies in a single microphone.
The variable polar pattern offers precise control of the pattern, ranging from omni, cardioid, supercardioid and figure-of-eight and anything in-between. An innovative switch also lets you define the front of the microphone.
The LCT 1040 comes with an innovative power supply and remote system with a detachable control centre that delivers all controls without leaving the sweet spot.
The remote includes two different outputs, FET and Mix to provide more options are the mixing stage with the FET output only feeding the clean option and the Mix providing the chosen blend.
The LCT 1040 comes with a forward-thinking shockmount using carbon fibre elements for efficient decoupling. It boasts a quick-release mechanism to fix or detach the microphone. Also, shipping is a dual-layer magnetic pop shield to protect the capsule from unwanted plosives and moisture.
