The Looptrotter Satur-8/24 is a 24-channel summing mixer with saturation and soft limiting.

The Looptrotter Satur-8/24 features 24 input via D-sub which are routed through 8 saturation blocks adding vintage valve consoles and tape-like distortion. 8 outputs are also included transforming the Satur-8 into an 8-channel saturation unit for tracking or mixing adding subtle harmonics enhancement to create a solid and fat sound.

As a summing mixer, the Satur-8/24 lets you sum 24-channels including channel 1 to 8 through the 8 distortion blocks to the output channels. A LCR toggle switch lets you pan each of the distortion blocks while a stereo output level is controlled on the master section. A stereo insert point is included in the summing section allowing you to connect additional processors such as a mixbuss compressor or EQ. Master and monitor outputs are also provided allowing you to record to tape directly while monitoring exactly the result. A Magic button adds further depth and focus to your mix with a wider soundstage making your summed output bigger.

An optional expansion slot allows you to expand the amount of saturation blocks to 16 adding further colouration options.
