The Lynx Hilo 2 With Thunderbolt Interface is a sophisticated upgrade from its predecessor, the highly praised 2-in, 6-out AD/DA audio converter/interface, signalling a significant advancement in the company's heritage.
This newer version introduces many improvements designed to enhance the listening experience. The inputs and outputs have been carefully optimized to achieve unmatched clarity, minimizing noise and distortion to the lowest possible levels. With the debut of the SynchroLock 2 Sample Clock, the Hilo 2 achieves enhanced precision, featuring quicker synchronization, detailed tracking of external clocks, and a remarkable accuracy of 7 parts per million.
The upgraded in-plane switching LCD screen and a capacitive touch panel significantly boost user interaction and visual presentation. These upgrades improve screen brightness, guarantee consistent viewing angles, and improve touch sensitivity. Ready to meet future audio production needs, the Hilo 2 supports higher sample rates beyond 192kHz and DSD for both inputs and outputs. It also allows users to select between linear and minimum phase filters for its line I/O, offering them the flexibility to tailor their audio experience.
