The Mesanovic SC1 is a transformerless small-diaphragm condenser microphone with interchangeable omni and cardioid capsules.

The Mesanovic SC1 is made in Detroit using precision-machined stainless steel and offers very low self-noise and extremely low distortion as well as fast transient response. Each pair of capsules is matched for both sensitivity and frequency response. This pairing is done in an ISO certified anechoic chamber.

The SC1 is ideal for stereo recordings of drums, piano, strings and orchestras, acoustic guitar. It also works great on snare drums, toms and electric guitars thanks to its high SPL handling capabilities.
