KMR Audio - Neumann KM185 nx hypercardioid capsule, Nextel black
Pressure gradient transducer with a hypercardioid pattern, providing approximately 10 dB sound attenuation from the sides and rear, with minimum sensitivity at around 120°. It features a Nextel finish and is part of the Neumann KK capsule heads system, designed to create complete microphones when combined with either the KM D (nx) or KM A (nx) output stages, resulting in the KM 184 D (nx) or KM 184 A (nx), respectively.

The Neumann KK 185 NX is a pressure gradient transducer featuring a hypercardioid pattern. It effectively attenuates sound from side or rear directions by approximately 10 dB. Its sensitivity reaches a minimum at an angle of around 120°. The exterior boasts a Nextel finish.

The Neumann KK capsule heads are integral to the versatile miniature microphone system. The KK capsule heads create a comprehensive microphone setup when combined with either the KM D (nx) or KM A (nx) output stages. Specifically, combining the KK 184 (nx) with the KM D (nx) results in the KM 184 D (nx), while pairing the KK 184 (nx) with the KM A (nx) yields the KM 184 A (nx).
