PMC 8-2 Sub (Left or Right)

The PMC 8-2 Sub is an active subwoofer designed to works as a standalone subwoofer in multichannel systems, or as an XBD cabinet, to create a full range system with the paired 6-2 or 8-2 studio monitors.

The PMC 8-2 Sub includes twin 8” long-throw bass drivers, each powered by an independent 400W Class D amplifier. it offers higher SPL and an extended frequency response down to 25Hz. The built-in DSP engine offers sophisticated room boundary controls as well as parametric EQ, time, phase inversion and the XBD mode to offer perfectly configured performance with the 6-2 and 8-2 speakers. These controls are accessible on the rear panel of the speaker or by using PMC’s SoundAlign browser-based software.

The PMC 8-2 Sub comes in a left or right configuration with the bass drivers on the outside edge. Combined with the PMC 6-2 or 8-2 it creates a full-range system with impressive power and dynamic range. A single subwoofer can however be employed in a multichannel or immersive sound system if required.
