The PMC MB2S is an uncompromising 3-way passive studio monitor designed for recording studios, broadcast, post-production and mastering facilities.
The PMC MB2S is ideally suited for mid-sized control rooms as it allows for higher SPLs with virtually no distortion and loss of definition. The MB2S uses the PMC 75 mid driver found on the IB2S studio monitor which ensures ultimate mid-range clarity and detail associated with bigger studio monitors. In addition, the MB2S uses PMC&rsquo's Radial low-frequency driver which allows for huge controlled excursions without power compression thanks to its cast alloy exoskeleton used to cool the driver and a new rear vented magnet.
Popular in Post-production and broadcast, the PMC MB2S uses a Film filter option which offers three HF Roll off levels: 1.5dB, 3dB and flat. It can be soffit mounted or used on a custom speaker stand (sold separately) that has been designed to optimise the performance of the speakers.
