The Radial Engineering Voco-Loco foot-controlled effects loop is a pedal allowing vocalists or any mic level instruments to use guitar pedals in the signal path for adding special effects during solos or experimentations.

The Radial Voco-Loco starts with a high-quality mic preamp designed to work both with dynamic and condenser microphones thanks to the built-in phantom power supply. Following the mic preamp section, is a two-band EQ with low and high shelving bands in order to help add warmth or shimmer to the incoming instrument. The Hi-Z effects loop is situated right after and sends the incoming signal to guitar pedals. Dedicated Send and Return controls let you optimise the signal-to-noise ratio and distortion while a tone control helps smooth the sound of the pedals on the return path. A Blend control also lets you set the amount of dry or wet signal desired to find the perfect balance.

The Voco-Loco is extremely easy to use. Simply connect your microphone in the XLR input, your guitar effects in the ¼” jack effect loop input and output, and the XLR output into the mixer and you’re all set. The Right footswitch activates or bypasses the effect, while the left one works as a microphone mute to use in between songs avoiding risks of feedback or as an “All Wet” effect bypassing the dry signal for creating very obvious effects.
