KEY FEATURES
The RME 12Mic is a 12-channel digitally controlled microphone preamp with extensive AVB and MADI, SteadyClock FS ultra-low jitter clocking.
The RME 12Mic includes 12 mic preamps delivering up to 75dB gain and is capable of handling levels of +18dBu. As a result, the 12Mic doesn’t require and passive attenuator device (PAD). All 12 preamps work at microphone or line levels and the first four preamps include Combo Jack/XLR connections.
The 12Mic includes AVB Audio networking capabilities with two fully redundant network ports. It uses the IEEE standard for audio streaming, discovery and control ensuring perfect communication with any standard AVB controller allowing for the streaming of audio signals over the network with fixed latency and guaranteed bandwidth.
In addition, the 12Mic includes high-quality A/D conversion with RME’s ultra-stable Steadyclock FS technology, offering ultra-low jitter clocking resulting in a tight sound with deep, wide and detailed sound. Clocking external devices is possible over Word Clock.
