The Royer R-DB22 dBooster2 is a dual-channel inline signal booster and DI designed to boost the signal of ribbon and dynamic microphones. It also functions as a high-impedance DI box. 

The Royer R-DB22 dBooster2 is the perfect complement for low-output ribbon or dynamic microphones as it raises their level with virtually no colouration or distortion. Each channel offers a choice of 12dB or 20dB boost selectable via the front-panel gain switch.

Furthemore, the R-DB22 offers high source impedance to microphones, greatly reducing damping (loading) and increasing headroom. The outputs deliver a low impedance and increased microphone-level signal that can be used with any digital interface or standard mic preamp. An additional benefit is a reduction in signal loss on long cable runs.

Used a DI box, the R-DB22 dBooster2 provides a choice of 0dB or 8dB gain boost while the single-ended high-impedance input keeps headroom and gain regardless of load with minimal colouration and distortion.
