A New Digital Synthesizer

With the SimplexFM firmware, the Metaconformer transforms into a versatile digital multitimbral synthesizer. Each of its four voices can operate as an independent synthesizer, complete with its unique settings.

The additive sound core enriches harmonic complexity in diverse ways, each voice possessing a distinct character. Features include an asymmetric triangle oscillator, wavefolder, saturation overdrive, and a waveshaping comb filter.

Every track can modulate the frequency of any other track. Instead of selecting an algorithm, you choose the FM source for each track to enable cross-modulation.

The synth engine draws inspiration from classical Buchla techniques, while the FM section is influenced by the LYRA-4 and pushes beyond traditional boundaries.
