The SPL MTC Mk2 is a next-generation monitor and talkback controller with three monitoring modes, three speaker outputs with a dedicated sub and Phonitor Matrix technology.
The SPL MTC Mk2 provides a wide range of speaker configurations, starting with a choice of three speaker sets and additional Mono outputs that can be used for a subwoofer or a monoblock speaker. Each speaker's output can be engaged individually or simultaneously if required such as surround situations.
The MTC Mk 2 offers three monitoring modes, standard stereo, inverted polarity and L/R Swap. These three modes provide incredibly useful insight into a mix, allowing to highlight issues with stereo as well as quickly changing stereo directionality.
The MTC Mk2 sees a powerful update to the headphone stage starting with the addition of an extra headphone output and higher gain thanks to a new Push-Pull Class AB amplifier. It uses only thermally coupled transistors to ensure a highly consistent stereo image. The MTC also sees the addition of SPL’s highly popular Phonitor Matrix which adds a delayed signal on the opposite side to recreate the effect of hearing through speakers ensuring better translations to all stereo speaker systems.
All internal voltages work at around 18 Volts delivering levels up to 22.5dB, offering more headroom during mixing and playback.
