The instrument input has a unique variable impedance control allowing subtle tweaking of the high harmonic content of guitars and basses. The maximum 2M ohm setting is perfect for a Les Paul, giving you all the sustain and ring that you hope for. The mic pre is wonderful and warm and can go from totally clean to very valvey.
Drive and overload LEDs let you know what's going on. The compressor section has an input gain drive control to allow a wide variety of valve coloration sounds to be created. The theory of valves in practice.
