The Summit Audio TLA-50a is a half-rack valve compressor based on the legendary Summit TLA-100a originally designed by Dave Hill.
The Summit Audio TLA-50 offers the same ease of operation and the same controls as its bigger brother. In fact it also uses the same compression cell as the TLA-100 giving you the same stunning compression that has graced so many tracks over 30 years.
Designed as a high-end portable solutions for recording artists and engineers on the move or live rigs, the TLA-50 has established itself as a firm favourite in many of the most high end recording studios. Despite its diminutive size, this compressor boasts two outputs (one balanced XLR and one unbalanced jack), Side chain input and a Link connection to pair two units together for stereo operation..
