The Telefunken U47/U48 Studio Set includes a frequency-matched U47 and U48 microphone powered by a custom dual power supply designed to power both microphones simultaneously.
The Telefunken U47/U48 Studio Set offering a choice of two iconic microphones with different characteristics. Each microphone will provide great sound in itself full of midrange character, low-end heft and smooth top end. Used individually the U47 will give a more direct sound, while the U48 will deliver a more ambient sound.
Used together however you can get a wide range of combination with a stereo recording with both microphones set to cardioid or use the U48 in figure of eight and capture stunning stereo image with Mid/Side capture.
