The Trident Audio TR80BEQ is a redesign of the superb Trident 80 Series console EQ that has defined the “British EQ” for the new and highly popular 500-series format.

The Trident Audio TR80BEQ is a single slot four-band EQ with frequency-switchable high and low-pass shelving bands combined with sweeping Low and High-midrange bands and a  fixed 12dB/octave, 50Hz high-pass filter. Each band features a -/+ 15dB gain.

Just like the EQ on the Trident 80 Series consoles, the TR80BEQ is an extremely flexible and musical equaliser offering maximum effect on music thanks to a really large overlap between bands. It imparts a unique colour to the sound that often described as creamy. Its uncanny ability to add weight to the sound has made it a favourite in many recording studios over the world.

This high-quality 500-series module was designed in the US and built in the UK where the original consoles were designed and built.
