The UDO Super 8 is a 16-voice polyphonic, bi-timbral analogue-hybrid performance synthesiser. Featuring hands-on controls, a 61-note weighted keyboard with polyphonic aftertouch, and the powerful, flexible sound characteristic of the UDO Audio family, it represents the next evolution in the Super series.

Innovative Design and Technology

At the heart of the Super 8 are two independent binaural analogue-hybrid synthesiser signal chains using UDO’s proprietary synthesiser technology. This setup provides up to 16 voices of polyphony and two unique timbres, each with its effect chain. Like the larger Super Gemini, voices and timbral layers can be split, dualled, and sequenced with a single control.

Advanced Features for Superior Sound

Powered by complex FPGA digital oscillators, the Super 8 offers expansive tonal features such as wave morphing, cross and ring modulation, bi-directional sync, and an all-analogue signal path inspired by classic polysynths. The 61-note semi-weighted keybed with polyphonic aftertouch, left-hand performance controls, and extensive patch and sequence slots ensure a balance of power, playability, and performance.

Ergonomic and User-Friendly

Positioned between the Super 6 and the Super Gemini in size and power, the Super 8 prioritises the player with high-quality tactile controls and an intuitive design that encourages exploration. It shares the true-stereo binaural signal path, dual FPGAs, and twin effects processors of the Gemini while maintaining the portability and road-friendliness of the Super 6.
